At Express English School we offer English courses using the Callan Method. We decided to use it as it teaches English four times faster than other methods.
According to the University of Cambridge, it takes the average student studying at the average school throughout the world 350 hours (4 academic years) to reach the level of the Cambridge Preliminary. The Callan Method, as used by the Express English School, gets him there in 80 hours (one academic year), and to the Cambridge First Certificate in 160 hours. These certificates are used as a universal yardstick to measure one method against another.
For these exams schools using Callan Method have a 95% pass rate, compare with the international average of 70%.
Free Trial Lessons

The student can begin his course at any time and doesn’t have to wait for the start of the new term.

Companies using the Method
Many large international companies such as, IBM, FIAT, OLIVETTI, PIRELLI, PHILIPS, TELEKOMUNIKACJA POLSKA etc, have used the Callan Method for teaching their employees English.
How the Method obtains its results
With most methods the students speak and listen for only about 25% of the lesson. With the Callan Method they listen and speak the whole lesson, that is, four times a much, and consequently learn in a quarter of the time.
10,500 words a lesson
Because the Callan Method students and Callan Method teachers speak the whole lesson, the students have 10,500 words a lesson going into their ears.
Learning fast means learning well
Unlike other subjects, a language is best learnt at speed.
